After obtaining her degree Siobhán travelled to Australia where she worked in Sydney as a legal editor with “Thompson Legal & Regulatory Asia Pacific Limited”. As a legal editor Siobhán summarised case law for publication in legal digests which were circulated in both Australia and in the U.K.

On her return to Ireland Siobhán completed her apprenticeship with one of the top tier Commercial Law Firms in Dublin, gaining invaluable experience in Property Law, Commercial Law and contentious litigation. On her return to her home town of Ennis in 2005 Siobhán joined our firm and continues to work in these areas as well as focusing on criminal law – attending the District and Circuit Court on a regular basis, dealing with contested and uncontested matters. Additionally she represents clients in Court for the prosecution and defence of civil matters.

Siobhán also deals in Court with licensing matters on behalf of individuals, corporate clients and clubs alike, assisted by her in-depth knowledge of Local Authority and Statutory requirements.

Other Court appearances revolve around debt collection matters, obtaining Orders against Debtors - ultimately leading to the Sheriff taking in execution the goods of the Debtor or indeed the registration of Judgment Mortgages.

Other areas in which Siobhán specialises includes Wards of Court Applications, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Applications on behalf of Care Representatives.

When out of the office Siobhán lectures in Galway and Limerick on the structure of the Irish Judicial System, Court practise and procedure in addition to reviewing the importance of the Law of Evidence in criminal trials and the admissibility of same.
